Aesedra Creations was originally conceived as a method to produce our own works - self-publishing.
As the self-publishing idea evolved, we examined the market for e-books and publications further. It became obvious reasonably quickly that there was a substantial market for works that were not only professionally produced but professionally presented.
Much of our competition in the online publication and e-book industry either maintain websites on free hosts such as Freewebs or Geocities, or they have sites that are a tangle of invalid HTML markup, colour contrasting, inappropriate font sizes, styles or lettering, or a combination of all or some of the above.
We here at Aesedra Creations have a solid grounding in HTML and CSS, not to mention usability. Many folk who design such e-book and online publications need to study the works of Jakob Neilsen, specifically his articles on writing for the WWW. Reading large swathes of text on a screen can be problematic for a variety of reasons.
It's our aim, therefore, to make the entire experience as readable as possible.
